About Carrie
My Story
Hi! My name is Carrie, I’m a 56-year-old mom of two daughters and two dogs living in beautiful Southwest Florida. With a background of competing in fitness competitions and working with some of the best coaches and trainers in the business in my 20s, I gained some invaluable knowledge and understanding when it comes to the fundamentals of exercise and nutrition. I also completed my Personal Training certification at the time, however, decided not to pursue that as a career and ended up working in the Custom Home Building Industry for the past 30+ years, including obtaining my Building Contractor’s License.
I was able to maintain a fit physique most of my life, however in my mid 40’s I found myself seeing an image in the mirror I no longer recognized. Life changes such as divorce, busy school and sports schedules with the kids, purchasing and maintaining my own home, and feeling that I had no time resulted in a complete lack of exercise and poor nutrition which led to the loss of the self-confidence I once had and a feeling of hopelessness that my best physical self was now a thing of the past.
With some inspiration from social media and feeling that I hit rock bottom, I decided to do something about it and signed up for an online program that I could follow from home. Eighteen months later I hired my first one on one coach and it was the best decision I could have made because it helped me to get back into shape I was in my 20s, just in time for my 50th Bday and it felt amazing to prove that age is no barrier to being my best self. After that, I signed on as an Accountability Coach with her team and recruited over 40 women, and that’s when I realized just how passionate I was about helping others achieve their goals. I decided to soak up all the knowledge I could about Macro Nutrition, obtained my Certification in the field, and began my own Macro Nutrition Coaching business.

Macro counting is a nutrition tracking method that focuses on the three macronutrients: carbohydrates, protein, and fats. Unlike restrictive diets, it allows for flexibility in food choices while ensuring you meet your specific nutritional goals. It aids in weight loss, muscle gain, and overall health improvement by providing a balanced, personalized nutrition plan. You will need to download the My Fitness Pal App and subscribe to the Premium version for accurate tracking, and I’ll help you get everything set up.
My workout programs are designed based on your current fitness level, your personal goals, and the equipment you have access to. They are adjusted throughout your journey to continuously challenge and engage you, ensuring you make consistent progress. Training plans are programmed in 4 week blocks so you get a new workout plan every month.
These weekly Zoom calls are your time to connect directly with me. We’ll discuss your progress, review your weekly nutrition diary, whereas I’ll provide feedback and suggestions, discuss your workouts, and answer any questions you have. I’ll provide necessary adjustments to your plan, and the support, accountability and motivation you need to stay on track. Consider me your new best friend!
My exclusive fitness app allows you to track your progress, schedule coaching calls, upload progress photos, enter measurements and data, follow your workout plans, and communicate directly with me. It’s a comprehensive tool that keeps everything you need for your journey in one place. There’s a running banner with quick access to important information, including a link to recipes, and even a community page to connect with other clients where you can support one another, share your wins and lessons and get extra motivation in your journey. It’s like a second family!
Calorie and macro adjustments are made based on your weekly progress and biofeedback like mood, stress levels, and sleep patterns. Those in a fat loss phase will receive regular carb cycling plans to help prevent metabolic adaptations or plateaus and to ensure you keep progressing towards your goals. The numbers are provided on the weekly check in call and I’ll walk you through how to program your goals into the My Fitness Pal App.
After the first 12 weeks, you can choose to renew the program. I offer discounted renewal rates if you decide to continue, with deeper discounts applying with each renewal. I believe in fostering long-term relationships with my clients, supporting them throughout their fitness journey.
